When I was a kid, I wanted to be a teacher - mostly because Mum had been one. I knew Dad was "an engineer", but not what this meant except Maths which I was only middling at.
I pivoted to law & then publishing after my P7 teacher laughed because I didn't have the patience to teach. She was right!
