Howdy, I'm an Alabama transplant to Southern Illinois! I absolutely love it here and will advocate for the same friendliness and acceptance I've found here for everyone!

He/Him
I don't even know what's happening online in regards to that but I have a front row seat to neglect happening and I hate how few legal avenues there are in getting anything done about it, it screws with me seeing it but knowing *I* would be the one to get in trouble for anything more than reporting

On a personal note though, I've always played more slow paced, stealth, not generally the style of overwhelm and sheet force (with exception to Mass Effect), which leads to people all dying off before I can assist because they threw themselves into the fire, and then they become resentful 💀

-> And it definitely shouldn't then shift the onus onto the people suffering from their actions and choices, even if they are a sad person.

My mother killed animals with her disease, she nearly killed me multiple times, and often I still feel like a lot of me was killed in the process regardless ->

Sometimes we still deal with stuff, it comes with the territory, but it's like the difference between a few leaks in a roof VS 10ft of water breaking through your walls, this is manageable and people can and DO help us.
