I do think that a lot of trans people, esp trans men, struggle with this sort of isolation where it feels like people don't believe that we face the transphobia we do, most of them don't know the make-up of antitransmasculinity even, so we feel like we constantly have to "prove" it-

but I do love that it opens on Konemann talking about how he thought that documenting and showing people the transphobia we face would prove that it's real, when the reality is, people know it is, they just ignore it, so the process ends up being a form of self harm
