Until there are huge demonstrations in cities that Republicans think they safely control ideologically, nothing will change. They WANT "liberal" cities to demonstrate.

A lot of folks like to say how much they don't want this to become actual civil unrest / war / revolution; and then resist any of the means that might help avoid it.

Yes, Obama was crap on immigration. As was Biden.
To say they did it without beating white people up in the streets is perhaps racist and classist and lots of other -ists. It is 100% appalling.
But it is a message that helps sell resistance to it, and that is ultimately the point, right?
