I built my mask from a @palaeosinensis.com pattern and you can too! super straightforward process, detailed instructions, and a great little community of mask makers with even more tips and tricks. highly recommend for other DIY-ers, from scene to 'ween.

my goal was to approximate the look of rubber or leather for less so I could experiment with pony play gear without a huge investment. invested a billion hours of my time instead (and like $15 for gesso and sealant) and I'm frankly thrilled with the result!

my comfortable single-sitting ring count has stayed remarkably steady over time. as my technique and form have improved, the main difference has been how *often* I can sit down to weave. (shoutout to my several RSIs)
