open source is in a weird spot where on one hand linux is easier than ever and stuff like blender/godot/krita are legitimately professionally viable tools but there is still nothing in the realm of image editing or video/audio production that isn't crusty as fuck

Why does every animation idea I have start out so full of ideas, exciting, fun but then when approaching the end I think the idea is contrived and can’t think of any ways to improve it? Funny how the brain works.

Anyone here believe its possible to recapture the excitement for a project you've put down and complete it? I've struggled with failing to complete my blender projects for a while... part of me wants to move on but the other part wants me to prove I can re-ignite my passion for a dying project 😞
