Walking down my street this AM, I saw a young man holding a bulldog by a leash while the dog took an enormous shit. The young man left the turd and walked on. I picked up my pace and got in his face, wagging my finger and telling him he had to clean up after his dog. He gave me the “Gen Z Stare.” 1/

I have seen it time & again in my working life. Someone promoted to a position beyond their capabilities focuses not on mastering the responsibilities of their current position, but on continuing to do what they think they did well in their last job. So: signage.

If you don’t understand the peril of a POTUS accepting private money to build a facility on government property, or to pay the military during a government shutdown, I really don’t know what to say to you, except maybe, “Take a civics class.” 🤷🏻♀️

I live an apt that never gets trick or treaters, but I still have a RULE that can be summarized as #everyonegetscandy. Kids too shy to say “Trick or Treat” get candy. Teens not wearing costumes get candy. Babies too young to chew also get candy (their moms can enjoy it). Don’t withhold candy! 🎃
