It “only” took me two days to build this tote rack and reorganize all our mutual aid supplies but GD it’s done.

Please clap.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve attempted to wizard something open.

It is a veritable fountain of youth, while on the other hand driving a car is like choosing the wrong holy grail.

It’s upsetting, but anything that tilts the needle back towards them being available in the US again I guess.

I built a bunk for mine that has been instrumental in some pretty kick ass and affordable road trips.

Turns out there’s this whole class of scam websites that’s basically a scraped Home Depot website where the deals are too good to be true because they aren’t.

Gee it would be nice if google was more concerned with the abundance of scams instead of taking the scammers money.

Update: this ride is kicking ass!

Turns out the business park is just as desolate on a Friday night as Saturday. I really want to organize a karaoke bike ride ending in this pavilion.

Between a novid road trip to get married, the work and planning to make that happen, house sitting and getting a tooth pulled I haven’t done one of these in a while. And since it’s 87° out today it seems like a good of time as any to hop back on these rides.

More fun and adventures in ATX cycling infrastructure. The spot on the hellroad where they didn’t put flexposts in after redoing the bike lanes finally got some and before I even got to see them they were all knocked over because they were just glued on like pasties

Look how easy the glue comes off

This one is ringing in at under $2k usd and while tariffs will keep it out of the US market you might be able to snag one.

I’m building my own based on this design.

We’ve got top men working on it.

I’d been wearing them for years as a welder and so it felt pretty natural for it to become my grocery getter.

I do cover it with a neck gaiter though, keeps it clean and disturbs the locals less.

But not too much less.

Careful, this can be damaging long term to your battery, be extra careful not to charge a cold battery. It really pays to wrap it in an insulating layer.

It also pays to bring the batt in whenever possible. Remember: if you’re cold they’re cold, bring them inside.
