Take a 200 pound person, and move them 10 feet = 2000 pounds of torque. It depends also on how far from the fulcrum (balance point) you are being moved. It matters mostly on takeoff and landing when you have to have a certain amount of nose-up pitch for safety, especially in gusty winds.

3: Adjusting for the airspeed of an unladen swallow (either African or European).

Holy crap, that was insane!

I’ve been on a lot of flights to some interesting places doing what I do, but that was BY FAR the most heart pounding landing. St Barth over the hill with some very interesting crosswinds today. Even the seasoned pilot said today was “interesting.”
