Definitely an important aspect of her continuing cuteness. 8)

When I was a youth, Oregon Public Broadcasting played the Peter Davison series, before looping back to Jon Pertwee and doing it all again. For whatever reason (probably budgetary) they never got to Colin Baker.

Aw man, Peter Davison. Like the Doctor said, "You were my Doctor."

Also Tegan's still cute.

That photo is so oddly liminal.

Yeah, this must be awful and frustrating for them. I hope they're well.

There can't be that many people still there, can there? Didn't they close the local office and move most of it overseas?

Oh yeah, seizure warning. Also possibly some kind of neuroprogramming. But it's got a funky beat and you can bug out to it.

And I keep seeing people posting things like "Oh no they were so good." No, aside from like one okay ale, their seasonal beers were novelty items and usually tasted like somebody's homebrew experiment that kind of worked. They weren't all that. They were just ubiquitous.

Just imagine trying to work in that environment, too. We’ve both worked for some pretty dumb companies but with one notable exception thru didn’t seem to be TRYING to go out of business.

If that's how Rogue expected to run a multisite business at scale, then I'm surprised they hung on this long. Blaming covid for their problems was just an excuse-- if they actually worked the way that shittyass job posting implied, their days have been numbered since they opened.

Rogue was infamous for this supremely crappy job posting:

I really wish I knew if anyone had gotten curious as to why the CD claimed to be full (at like 20MB!) but there was only a 3MB internet installer visible and poked around. If anyone has the UltraNet Mac installer CD from roughly 1997-1998, take a look!

Long ago I had this as a quicktime movie (when downloading videos was how you watched internet videos). I was also in charge of making installer CDs for a local ISP called UltraNet.

I knew how to make invisible folders in MacOS so I made one and hid the video in there and shipped it.
