The arrogance and indignation of those on the right reminds me of James Hogg’s masterpiece, which explores the inner life of Robert Wringhim, a predestinationist who is befriended by a stranger, whom everyone but him knows to be the devil - the book was banned when it first came out in 1824.

Snopes found this claim was not credible - I am one of the ones that reposted the original - I am not sure where things stand re the validity of the 2024 election, but at least we know this particular claim lacks credibility
