Friedman’s NYT article reminds of the Oliver Wendell Holmes quote, “For the simplicity this side of complexity I wouldn’t give you a fig. But for the simplicity on the other side of complexity, I would you everything I have.” Dems need to find that ‘simplicity on the other side of complexity.’
