I’ll share some craft I do. This is Pretty Earth, it is a sour ale aged in wine barrels with beets for nearly 3 years. It’s a really fun utterly distinct beer and I’m pretty proud of the packaging work I did on it.

Learned something new. Sounds like most (if not all) American soybeans are subpar sorta like our corn

The weird thing is most prepared sly beans - like pre-cooked edamame - is imported from China but im not sure if they’re using soybeans from the USA for those.

The shitty thing is most of the really destructive federal economic policies are really affecting the west coast. I went to a state wide ports conference last week and oh man the Washington ports are utterly fucked right now

Turning Point USA announced it will host counterprogramming to the Super Bowl halftime show, called “The All American Halftime Show,” as MAGA critics have been enraged over the selection of Bad Bunny as the 2026 headliner.

I agree with you on principle but i live in a place where often the republicans run unopposed. This is in the very blue state of Washington. I legit hate my state’s democrats abandonment of rural communities.

That’s awesome and as your experiencing firsthand takes a lot of work to preserve or expand those public spaces. I’m a commissioner for a very small port and all we do is provide public goods. Like a dock and a disc golf course.

I earnestly believe everyone should be running for all the various small offices. That’s been the right’s tactic for the past several decades and look where they are now.
I was elected in 2021, it’s been wild ride learning how the state operates and other people should be willing to step up too

I ran as an independent - im not part of a party which does make operating a lot harder without that institutional knowledge and labor base - and won in 2021, it’s little steps and it sure would be nice to get some actual help. I will likely go for a second term in 2027

Like Paxton, will never root against Walker unless… but let’s not kid that would only be one game in the series

to clarify the bad signature was mostly young people voting for gop and being disqualified.
somecody.bsky.social
If it gives you any comfort the mason county auditor ran and won on a anti-voter fraud and mail-in, now that he’s been doing for a while he’s realized the county can’t afford to go back to inperson and there’s no fraud just bad signatures lol

I really want to do more fun stuff at the port but i keep getting voted down due to budgetary reasons 😔

mad respect. probably projecting here but i assume they’re buddies and being acting nerds doing that play with your pal has got to be a blast. they’re probably smart enough to ignore those types of reviews but i hope they do see it as it’s pretty danged funny

holy shit, bill and ted together! im assuming they’re the two dudes (can’t remember their names), dang that sounds rad as hell

I don’t pay any attention to the stage world but seeing keanu in godot sounds delightful

It helps that when I’m asked what my main political goal is the abolishment of time and people go ‘oh he’s a harmless baseball guy’

Great piece on the Mariners and their relationship with Nintendo. I still think it’s pretty fun that under their ownership was when the mariners were at their best - suck it George Will

You'll never guess who wrote this one, so I'll just tell you: it was me. Learn about MLB's very 1990's hesitation at allowing Japanese money near America's national pastime, Nintendo's partnership with Ken Griffey Jr., and their long-running relationship and fascination with baseball.
endlessmode.bsky.social
In the '90s Ken Griffey Jr. was as much of a Nintendo icon as Kirby, Link or Samus. As the Seattle Mariners play deep into the baseball playoffs, we look at the team's long history with Nintendo. www.endlessmode.com/article/nint...

Yeah. Completely agree and honestly I think if you can campaign on a clear message of how their corruption has made everyone’s life worse while tying it to Trump’s nearly doubling of wealth. That would be popular!

there’s also a decent chance they’re not going after the gang stuff since they’ll be the ones providing the even more exploitable labor to their business buddies
