Good info, thanks !

I would also like that to be considered a negative thing by the voting public.

By any reckoning, I'd be cautious when using any polling data this far out from 29.

The sdp had 50 per cent in polls in 1981. You might be too young to remember them. They won 6 seats in 1983.

Fair comment!

Championship is more fun though. Pop down for a season, give yourselves a break, go back stronger.

Which is fine if Rob had said that, but it's not the point he made. Also, governments nearly always lose popularity a year or so in.

Bristols first team's average age was over 25 I think, quite a few 27s and older. Maybe that was an issue.

Yes, smith made a point of talking about it I think, Farke was more like a choreographer, which is imagine works better with younger players.

Ah yes, that became a thing shortly after gravity became mandatory, I seem to remember.

Agreed, perhaps Murray would have been less subtle?

Bill Murray was the first choice for the role, but because he made himself deliberately difficult to get hold of for parts (leave a message on an answerphone I think it was), they went with hoskins instead. I sometimes wonder how that would have worked out.

Not sure much can be read into a council by election that 900 plus people voted in.

Thanks for the guess though!

Nope, it turns out I should have just googled a capella Xmas songs. It's white winter hymnal, but the version I found wasn't as good. So now I just have to track down the artist. Will look later as I'm on a bus and don't want to be that guy.

More modern, female vocalist with a group of backing singers I think. I think it's in a minor, but moves around with key changes. At least that's what my very bad guitar plucking and poor memories lead me to.

Everyone should be this excited about their work. Its frankly very wholesome to see.

There's a Xmas song they were playing in Tesco's a couple of Decembers ago, starts off like an a capella song, was really good, I've never been able to find it. I'm kind of hoping you'll accidentally mention it in this thread, that is if you're not too busy :).
December 12, 2025 at 9:51 AM
I've just read the thread, I think they have a solution, somebody local had built one! :)

They sometimes come off, always worth a try :)

No problem, thanks for trying :)

Oh yeah, it's a million to one shot for sure. The urban population of Zurich is 2.1 million though, so you never know :)
