“Don’t you have feelings?”

She did have feelings.

The feelings were she wanted to get fucked onto the astral plane and not think about her life for a second.

But this clearly wasn’t the right thing to say, so she reached into the feelings bag and yanked out “I’m crazy about you.” Sure, why not? It was bland, liking-adjacent. It was not necessarily a declaration of love. He seemed to accept it.
