I’m on the same page - this was not a ‘woe is us, the football gods are against us, what more can we do’ siege on the United goal many seem to think it was.
I think I saw the game differently 😅 of course there were chances, but you would expect Arsenal to create chances at home, against United who were down to ten men in the 61st minute.

We’re a week in to January and I’m struggling to let go of the Xmas holidays. Up all night playing games, sleeping in, eating shit. Haven’t touched the gym and I’m doomscrolling Elon’s hell site instead of reading a book. Just no motivation to do anything rn.

Isak has been around for agesss and has only just gone supernova now, at age 25. And he’s always had injury questions which I’m sure haven’t magically disappeared. Recruitment is hard and hindsight is 20/20.
I think there’s a lot of revisionism going on re: Isak. He was obviously good but stagnated slightly when we were linked (January 2022) - ended the season with six goals in 32 appearances and injury issues.
Arsenal would have been weary of another big splash after Pepe, as well.

I was able to access the TX for the game but when my friend tried to transfer me a ticket it said I didn’t have the correct permissions because I hadn’t entered the ballot. Really despise this nightmare of a system we’ve somehow ended up with.
