I live between man-made lakes, tailings dams, a mine and the most beautiful temperate rainforest in the world. It is an odd juxtaposition, both beautiful and ugly.

vintage marble i found on the way to work this evening. i walk past an old dumping ground, sometimes things unearth themselves from between the roots of blackberries and other invasives that have grown over the rubbish heap.
