Tonight’s movie. Great example of how the good old wholesome 1960s America that conservatives idolize never existed. The 1960 Best Picture Oscar went to a movie about a dude renting out his apartment as a fuckpad for rich executives banging their side pieces. #filmsky

"…I don't want thick blood pouring through my heart," Trump says. "I want nice, thin blood pouring through my heart."

I think it probably means that they are just so awed by your brilliance that they want you to keep doing the test so they can marvel at the results. Yes I’m sure that’s what it means.
What does it mean when your doctors keep insisting you redo the cognitive exam

Guess we’ll just have to tax them everywhere then?
Billionaires are considering cutting or reducing their ties to California by the end of the year because of a proposed ballot measure that could tax the state’s wealthiest residents.

It’s uncertain whether the proposal will reach the statewide ballot in November, but some billionaires like Peter Thiel and Larry Page may be unwilling to take the risk.

So has she actually told us what was wrong with the story? Does she know? Or is it just that journalism is impossible unless the criminals give you a quote on the record that amounts to “yep we sure did the crimes”?
Bari Weiss just sent this Christmas Eve email to the CBS News staff about "building trust," which includes her tripling down on spiking the CECOT piece "to make sure it's comprehensive and fair."

I will reiterate

1. This entire story is very stupid
2. The student got exactly what she wanted. This was an obvious hit job.
3. The professor should have had one single ounce of foresight, realized the above, and acted accordingly (i.e. graded that shitty essay according to her own rubric).
