with this cast, this IP franchise, and the awesome storyline/writing, the show absolutely would have been a hit for Apple or Hulu nowadays, but this was before ComicCon ruled the world

every so often I remember it and think what a long running, successful, and prestigious show it would have been in the modern era

I mean for a long while there Fox just immediately canceled any interesting genre show…one thing I super don’t miss in the streaming era is “wow this show we dumped in a garbage time slot performed badly, pikachu dot gif”

What companies that rent products do is either crush competition until they have a functional monopoly, or make sure they and their competitors stay exactly as shitty, and then every so often offer something slightly better for a limited time to get new business
