The new Aussie critique of the Cass Review does not pull its punches about its failures, & makes the point that "gender-critical beliefs" should be declared.

Since transphobes have made so much of having these protected by law, they should be required to declare them.

Lengths to refuse our care, they constantly look for excuses not to treat us.

This is with apologies to the handful of truly great human beings at GIC’s and Surgeons who’ve managed to put up with so much abuse to help keep care going.

It’s not an individual failure it’s institutional

18 week was a target rather than a legally enforceable timeline.

This follows the 99 court case of North West Lancashire Health v A, D, G where the NHS tried to say it didn’t / shouldn’t have to treat trans people.

The NHS has never had our best interests at heart and has gone to great

Another point I want to make on this, the NHS has an 18 week “maximum” wait for non-urgent or consultation led treatments. It has no desire to meet this target with trans people.

In 2023 trans people lost a legal challenge to this, the NHS defended its position and the High Court agreed that the

🚨Beware of how this petition is going to be misused by ‘gender critical’ transphobes!

On the face of it, it seems innocuous - but it’s clear transphobes are going to conflate trans women with cis men in order to EXCLUDE them from women’s hospital wards! 😖

It’s insidious malicious transphobia! 😤

Could you all please sign and share the petition I launched last month to help protect people going in to hospital. It has just started getting traction with support from Sharron Davies MBE and Rosie Duffield MP. These terrible and sadly numerous crimes mostly affect woman and the most vulnerable in society. There is huge concern that the NHS is suppressing enquiries and not tackling the terrible situation effectively.

outvoted by the members, now they are threatening legal action against them for being trans inclusive. It's never been about safety, it's always been about pushing trans people out of public life and I WISH the media would honestly report that (/s they won't because they are solidly transphobic)

Having met a lot of the senior clinicians at Indigo I don’t know how long an awesome team of lovely people who believe in and support trans people will be allowed to continue operating.

The review into adult gender private treatment seems to suggest they both know and are happy with it, GIC’s were always built on a delay delay delay pathway.

When they ban private adult care they’ll force everyone into these waiting lists and they’ll explode.

I believe that’s the plan

I don’t want people to lose track of the fact that this is JUST to first appointment which is normally a mental health professional not even a first diagnosis and that from that to discharge if on a surgical route can be 6 years or more
