As a feminist, it’s just SO EXHAUSTING that I have to investigate EVERYTHING that seems remotely supportive of women, to make sure that it’s not a Trojan horse being used by ‘gender critical’ transphobes to sneak in anti-trans hate under the guise of “protecting women”! 😫

🚨Beware of how this petition is going to be misused by ‘gender critical’ transphobes!

On the face of it, it seems innocuous - but it’s clear transphobes are going to conflate trans women with cis men in order to EXCLUDE them from women’s hospital wards! 😖

It’s insidious malicious transphobia! 😤

Could you all please sign and share the petition I launched last month to help protect people going in to hospital. It has just started getting traction with support from Sharron Davies MBE and Rosie Duffield MP. These terrible and sadly numerous crimes mostly affect woman and the most vulnerable in society. There is huge concern that the NHS is suppressing enquiries and not tackling the terrible situation effectively.

In a press release, Texas Attorney General calls "transgenderism" a "corrupted ideology" that is "a cancer on our culture."

This is openly genocidal rhetoric about trans people from a sitting AG.

A press release dated October 7, 2025, with the headline: “Attorney General Ken Paxton Launches Undercover Operations to Infiltrate and Uproot Leftist Terror Cells in Texas After Increased Political Violence.” The statement claims rising left-wing violence, referencing the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and outlines Paxton’s directive for undercover investigations. A highlighted quote from Paxton reads: “Leftist political terrorism is a clear and present danger. Corrupted ideologies like transgenderism and Antifa are a cancer on our culture and have unleashed their deranged and drugged-up foot soldiers on the American people.” The text further accuses the radical Left of fostering political violence, referencing incidents involving Antifa-like groups and a supposed assassin tied to transgender movements. I'd add this. Although human rights are universal, those who most need the shelter they provide are those without money and power and who are politically targeted. The cost of the Supreme Court's choice to "edit the Human Rights Act out of existence" will be born most heavily by them.
