all they'd need to do would be to facilitate a democratic election, and that could deliver legitimate power. I don't see how else you can stop ICE from doing what they like.

I fear it is wishful thinking. But what of the regular army? what would it take to turn them? The man has a private army ffs. I am not sure public opinion alone can turn this around.
