Don't get your knickers in a twist. Canada "caved" according to Trump so that he can look like a king. Carney was simply massaging a big ego to allow further negotiations on more important issues, like lumber, steel, and dairy. Who's to say the DST won't make another appearance in future?

And by the way, I’ve seen a lot of complaints about PM #MarkCarney’s proposed increased military spending. First of all, this is a #NATO commitment, but 2nd of all, he has seen the intelligence on threats to 🇨🇦. Ignoring these threats & not preparing, would be governmental malpractice. #cdnpoli
