SourceLab is back for Fall '25! We re-opened last Monday with a fantastic discussion of SourceLab goals and history while welcoming in new scholars and students. New archival materials are being set up for HIST 207. SourceLab Mondays have begun again, every Monday 3-5 in the Lincoln Hall LAS Hub!

Our visit to the RBML at Illinois was amazing! We viewed books that showed global histories of censorship, public information, domestic life, and health. Books helped us think through themes for new digital editions and future classes. We are grateful to the librarians for this great experience!

This week SourceLab presented MinDoc at Illinois State University's Tea and DH session! It was great to show and try out the minimal computing framework for digital documentary editions, connect with students and scholars, and see the Digital Scholarship Lab at Milner Library! 🫖💻

We had an excellent SourceLab Monday workshop this week, experimenting with ArcGIS and story maps! Attendees learned new skills, created maps, and discussed applications ranging from literature to history to urban planning.
