The GOP's media propaganda machine has done a number on the so-called 'straight news' outlets. They establish a daily narrative, and other media enthusiastically echoes it. There is no comparable media aligned with the left. Dems aren't silent, their voices are drowned out.
It's 2015. President Barack Obama has accepted a "sky palace" jumbo jet from the Qatari government, which he'll own after he leaves office. "Everybody relax," he says in an interview with the New York Times. Everyone does. The networks then televise the military parade in his honor on his birthday.

If the U.S. government is going to take the position that, once removed from the United States, folks can’t be brought back, then it sure seems to me that federal courts should be reflexively and categorically barring *all* removals until they’re 100 percent certain that the removals are lawful.

There is no reason for Democrats to support anyone Trump nominated...for any position. They should be using Mitch McConnell's tactics against the GOP, but expect to get credit for 'bipartisanship in a gov't led by a wannabe dictator.
