The results of a four-year analysis on PSR J1713+0747 have indicated that the millisecond pulsar underwent a significant profile change event, whose origin can be traced to the magnetosphere of the star - with massive disruptions to the polarisation.

Dr Mack was involved with the lab when it was no more than a big idea. Now, it is a state-of-the-art facility soon to host the SABRE South #darkmatter experiment.🧪

This new study, from Dylan Grigg at Curtin University, is not the first to study the impacts of Starlink on #RadioAstronomy, but is the largest of its kind and quantifies how this type of radio frequency interference - that comes from above - will impact the mega-science SKA project.
