it's really fantastic option for good quality watercolours for artists who cannot afford as many schmincke as they want (all of us), but don't want to have to settle for russian. another great option is Roman Szmal Aquarius, polish brand. a bit pricier than Rosa, but worth it.

I personally love a gift card to art supplies store the most, but I have to share my discovery of the year: Rosa Gallery watercolours. Great quality for extremely affordable price, cool granulating colours (carbon yellow my beloved). made in Ukraine rosa.ua/index.php?id...

why are people like that

thankfully, being your teacher's default "<sigh> please tell the class the answer, [deadname]" student had its perks and when I showed the teacher pages and pages of notes I took in every class she just stopped pestering me about it

downside of this was that high school students were often checked if they take notes and it was usually in a "read your notes from yesterday aloud" and that's how I found out that our lit teacher expected coherent notes written in full sentences, something I never bothered with

that's creepy
I learned to take notes uni style earlier than people usually do because I took uni style art history course when I was preparing for art school exams, but the fact that some of my classmates just. didnt note at all unless techer said "write it down" was just ????

just remembered my high school history teacher who said on first day "I'll be telling you things that aren't in textbook but will be on tests, I'll always let you know that's what they are so you can take notes" and she did that. guess what was happening after every single test

tiny jars are the best! I make a lot of preserves and I always have these tiny jars to fill (it's never gonna be perfect amount in a pot, esp not when I mostly use foraged or gifted produce) and they're excellent to add to gifts

"must be nice to not have to work and only draw" (I'm stabbing them with palette knife)
"can you draw me" is also annoying af but at least I can respond with pricing

I get it! my gown preference is due to my unwillingess to wear any kind of pants to bed (unless period), but it seems that situation fo any kind of sleepwear for plus size people is. uhm. as dire as any other things for plus size people, sigh

oh, this is a struggle. I prefer gowns, but like... simple trapezoid, and all that's available are those grandma styles. a thing I settled on is listed as beach dress on shop's website (and is pretty expensive, which is why I stock up in winter when it's on sale)

I wonder if there are some of my psychedelic things in one of these big tubes of my school works that I have in a garage. when I'm done with my current to do list, I have to bring these chonks upstairs and look inside

so far I'm getting the hang of it again, and also I hunted down and purchased vintage bracelet in a style I never got to find but wanted very much when I was a teen. being an adult has its perks

(sesame flour, aka ground sesame, is not suitable for baking on its own, but when added to things (sweet and savory like pakora batter) makes it so wonderfully delicate and tasty)

my secret is in flours! I use ye olde "1 part sugar, 2 parts butter, 3 parts flour" version but for 300gr of flour I mix 150gr oat flour, 100gr semolina, 25gr regular whet and 25gr sesame flour. it makes texture just the righ amount of crunchy and tender

I wonder if Steve likes ABBA. He seem like a guy who does.
November 30, 2025 at 3:20 AM
(realy small amount, since I used these two only for kneading, but I'm guessing it will be noticeable in the texture)
November 30, 2025 at 12:49 AM
I've read this words and ABBA started playing in my head
