#parkingreform underway in Dallas! So many advocates showed up. I tried to use the "costly parking mandate" language that @parkingreform.org shared earlier today and missed, but made the point that the city's finances were dire and we needed the density to bring in revenue. That got their attention!
we’re finally at the parking reform section of the CPC meeting! Staff is starting out with their presentation. Lots of emphasis on customizability to developers’ needs and vehicle demand management.

I have a love /hate relationship with these posts. Republicans are dumb W.r.t government debt but also debt isn't bad for the government in general.
