We live in the richest country in the history of the world, and we’re the only wealthy nation that doesn’t guarantee health care. Now we’re arguing over whether people deserve food. Explain it to me like I’m five because I don’t get it.

I was reminded of an ex-girlfriend today.
We got to know each other in a Biblical sense.

Unfortunately, in her case, it was Revelation.

Awareness comes with age and experience .

For instance, now when i give a conference presentation, I can tell the audience is secretly dressing me with their eyes.

November 2nd again, and several people are asking me about the Internet Worm. Although, sadly, also some people who claim to work in cybersecurity who have no idea what that is.

I wrote a blog post two years ago that remains relevant today...

There will be many dead things at our house this Halloween.

My willpower, my diet, and an empty bag of bite-sized Kit Kat bars, for example.

A few proverbs for the confused:

Today in the USA it is National Cat Day (www.nationaldaycalendar.com/national-day... ).

I have yet to see a good recipe posted. Does anyone else celebrate the day any more?

Disturbingly, they seem to be planning this for next week.

For Cybersecurity month in 2023, I had a “fireside chat” with Adm (ret) Mike Rogers, former DIRNSA.

Much of the discussion is still pertinent and interesting, especially in view of current events and policies. www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCXL...

I was born to poor but proud parents. My birth changed their lives: thereafter they continued to be poor, but were never proud again.

Actually, that's not true. They were proud of my sister, an only child.
