This excerpt of Mark Carney's speech is very powerful.

I instantly thought of Keir Starmer and the UK. Another "middle power...accepting (US) subordination". The UK left the EU and thought it could compete with the US, China, Russia and the EU. But it can't and now it's negotiating from "weakness".
In a speech to the World Economic Forum, Mark Carney says middle powers such as Canada must accept that the rules-based international order is effectively dead, and great power rivalry with is here to stay. Key excerpt:

Planning a few days away in Galicia next week. We don't care what the weather is like. It's a change of scenery and 'away'. Looking forward to it very much.

All EU countries that have qualified for the World Cup in the US should immediately withdraw their participation. That would be far more harmful to the Orange and the US than any other type of response.

The World Cup is a very corrupt event anyway. No big loss.

UK politics is so 'interesting' at the moment.
At next GE the UK could have a mix & match government.

I wonder if UK politicians and in particular the Labour party finally wake up? The UK's future should be again with the EU and not the US. The "special relationship" is dead. Make a choice now UK.
