Not only has Donald Trump shut down the government, but he canceled over a billion dollars in federal projects that were going to help American families and create good-paying jobs right here at home. American workers shouldn’t have to pay for Trump’s failures.

Since he refuses to be president to all of us, he can't be president to any of us. Remove him and release the Epstein files

Ye, there is. State legislatures can change that. They just don’t want to.

It undermines transparency and allows powerful interests to influence elections and policy without accountability. Democracy works best in the daylight.

With fewer than 60 lawyers, we are currently litigating 63 voting and election cases in 30 states — a number that will almost certainly rise in the weeks to come. The only thing that could cause it to fall anytime soon would be court closures resulting from the Republican-caused government shutdown.

Trump has little to insulate him now. Vought is not some temporary White House employee who’s dabbling in the art of sabotaging the government before he returns to his “job” as the world’s richest man.

According to the president himself, he is the Grim Reaper personified. trib.al/k0viSvZ
Russ Vought Is Going to Damage Trump Even More Than Elon Musk Did
Americans, and even many Republicans in Congress, don’t like it when an unelected bureaucrat makes huge cuts to the government.

I want an internet IP lawyer to flesh this out better than I could (and let me know if you know where one has), but I kinda can't get over how the IP industries steamrolled tech in the late 90s and early aughts and now tech is steamrolling the IP industries.

The difference seems pretty obvious. In the former, this was a powerful lobby pushing back on individual users with huge penalties to try to deter piracy, whereas now AI companies that have gargantuan investments and are carrying the US economy seem to be able to just steal IP and keep going.

MAGA lawmakers regularly share its content. Elon called it "one of the best accounts on X." It's run by a Macedonian who has never set foot in America — and who illegally donated to a U.S. congressional campaign.

Great stuff from @jsweetli.bsky.social:

Two influential MAGA social media accounts are run by Rumen Naumovski, a Macedonian who may have illegally donated to a U.S. election.

Make no mistake. This nonsense about Antifa is directly tied to the 2026 and 2028 elections. It’s the “crisis” they will use as justification to shut down key voting centers.

It’s such a relief to know this admin is always working so hard to lower prices, create jobs, reduce the cost of healthcare, and make home ownership affordable.
