The Northern Lights. I never get to see this where I live in the US! This is amazing! Gorgeous red! You can just see it flow to green down nearer the horizon, but there are too many houses and lights to get a good pic. Amazing!

Trying a new technique for the warping bar and front apron. Vinyl mini blind slats! So far the tension is better. The scarf is a cotton linen blend (5/2) warp and merino linen blend fingering weight singles for weft. 15 dent heddle.

Being the daughter of an auto mechanic, I have some comfort in doing some of my own auto maintenance tasks. Last weekend, I replaced the cabin air filters on both of our Teslas. Had to dismantle part of the dash and center console, and contort myself, but I did it!

Just finished, and wove in 200+ ends on this throw blanket for my daughter. All in superwash wool/nylon (85/15 and 75/25) sock yarn scraps, with KnitPicks Stroll as the neutral base yarn. It turned out so well that I am planning my next one! That would be my 3rd of these great all-seasons throws!

Who even am I? Four projects going at one time. Two rigid heddle loom projects, a pair of socks on my knitting needles, and a crochet blanket. The new (to me) 10” loom is so fun!

Another stock item for the art show/sale this fall. Superwash 80/20 merino/nylon fingering weight. Hand dyed. Even prettier in person! I meant to do a pickup pattern and forgot to place my pickup sticks before I got pretty far into the balanced plain weave. Rats! #rigidheddleweaving

Frankenstein repair to the sole of my me-made Doble Toeffler (double slippers, I think?). Felted wool. And I clearly step hard on the ball of my dominant foot. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 #knitsky #knitting #knit #knitandcrochet I only feel extra padding. Not the seams. ☺️
