As someone that appreciates everything in the Alien franchise not Xenomorph related, I was thrilled with the sci-fi direction this series goes. It’s not perfect, but this show had to juggle a lot; fitting into established lore, expanding lore, new characters & species, setting up the future, etc.

I dug #AlienEarth for the most part! The cast is pretty stellar and the tone is spot on. Sometimes you can tell this a TV show on a production level, but mostly looks good. This is like a merge of PROMETHEUS and ALIEN RESURRECTION, which I’m here for. More on @spectercinema.bsky.social next week!
