I know Lawrence blowing out the match is widely considered to be the best cut in cinema history, but have you all not seen the gag in Holy Grail where Lancelot is really far away and running towards the guards and then all the sudden is really close and takes them by surprise?

Look I’m not saying AI is good, but ChatGPT is being used heavily on my next film…

The only complaint you are legally allowed to have have with Andor S2E08 is that they obviously temp scored a sequence with “Time” from Inception and didn’t change it enough when they scored for real.
(The episode/arc was incredible and I suck for even mentioning this gripe.)

The sets/locations in Andor are insane and seem to be filmed in ways that are almost-purposeful middle fingers to the limitations of cinematography on the Mando stage. The Chandrila oner has like 5 elevation changes?

Can we talk about how great the mix is on Better Man? On my 15th rewatch of the Rock DJ oner, I noticed they seemed to have taken the sting off the lyrics like “pimping ain’t easy” and others that might’ve killed the vibe by bringing up other sync audio to fill the space. youtu.be/v356_23728Q?...
I know it’s cool to like subtle things but the track I Could Use a Boost from Wild Robot is great and on repeat in my brain and very very BIG.
