To be honest I've mostly just been handling packing and getting plans in order for my stupid cross country move orz

There’s a part of me that kind of regrets putting out MWG with Cinna and Fleur as the leads cause the characters are like… two of my oldest OCs and mean a LOT to me… so it’s a little hard to stomach that they’re gonna get misinterpreted and ppl are gonna be annoying about them… but such is the life.

For sure it’s one of those things! I’m so happy people like the chars and the comic so far, and are hyped, but it’s also one of those things where the characters are so personal I worry I’m just too attached to put them in the public eye like this 😂

I made MWG cause I was so creatively burned out and depressed, and was considering going back to college for a career pivot.

But I went pedal-to-the-floor on the self indulgence in this comic, and I’m grateful it’s doing well enough to sustain me atm. It’s just one of those artist things.

The sheer amount of illustrations and lack of guarantee for payment is just too suspicious, even if they have big name clients… I don’t blame you at all for being disheartened and suspicious 😬 Hang in there. If they offer a contract at least that could be a good sign, but personally idk if I do it.
