My therapy session got pretty heavy today, and I started talking about things and situations I’ve unfortunately had to deal with because I’m having flashbacks, nightmares, and I’ve been having a lot of hyper vigilance/startle responses

Today I had therapy like I usually do on Fridays and then had a case manager meeting right after. She’s my new case manager and taking over from my last one.

Update— my neurologist appointment today went very well and I’m relieved that not only was I heard and listened to by the doctor saw me, but also it was an anxiety win 🥇
She heard all of my symptoms, did a neurological exam, and had me walk from one side of the room to the other

Throwing it back to the time I had pizza dough from Trader Joe’s, I separated that into two small pizzas, the first one had BBQ sauce as the base and the second had regular pizza sauce
Tasted both of them, the BBQ one was the way to go

Man it’s uncomfortable when I feel really strong feelings of sadness, agitation, and anger. There were some triggers for why those feelings came on, but I’ll work through it
