It's especially baffling when "took/ended their own life" is something that can be said and, to my knowledge, would not be filtered anywhere, but people use outright immature, silly stuff instead.

It will never not bother me to hear “unalived” or “graped”. We’ve more than proved that banning language only creates different words for the same topics that we absolutely need to be talking about. Stop making serious issues sound less serious by banning the real heavy words. They’re not the issue

Squishmallows and Pillow Pets are big companies that don't really do deals with small creators. Makeship, Youtooz, and similar services, however, are typically fan-funded and accessible to small/indie creators.

every time i am ever critical of bluesky it's because i enjoy my time here, have nicely made a home for myself, and want the place to succeed. i'm on my hands and fucking knees begging them to stop walking into rakes like please for the love of allmo just look down at the ground to avoid the rakes.
