RFK at HHS means much of the US civil service sees a mass departure of skilled personnel in ways that will destroy the ability of core state institutions to function.

In a way a fascinating experiment in how a great power copes without a functioning administrative state.

The Large Magellanic Cloud (LMC) is one of the Milky Way galaxy's nearest neighbors. This dwarf galaxy looms large on the southern nighttime sky at 20 times the apparent diameter of the full Moon. And it survived a crash with our galaxy’s halo. (1/6)

The planet Uranus on a black background. The planet appears blue with a large, white patch taking up the right half. The patch is whitest at the centre, then fades into blue as it expands from right to left. A thin outline of Uranus is also white. Around the planet is a system of nested rings. The outermost ring is the brightest while the innermost ring is the faintest. Unlike Saturn’s horizontal rings, the rings of Uranus are vertical and so they appear to surround the planet in an oval shape. There are 9 blueish white dots scattered around the rings.

For those of you new to my story. I am a 10 year old American bobtail who was diagnosed with lymphoma in July. I’ve been receiving chemo every other week which doesn’t bother me and I have made a LOT of progress. I occasionally share my 7 brothers and sisters with you too. 💚
