Who's silk and why is everyone obsessed with their song?

I know that it technically wasn't but the idea of the Brazil episode of of smiling friends being the finale of their first season is much funnier to me as oppose to it just being an April fools special. It's just as funny to look at it as the premiere to season 2 as well

I love guardians of the galaxy 3 but I genuinely believe that Tyler Bates not doing the music is what holds it back from being my favorite of the trilogy. Not saying that John Murphy isn't a good composer, everything else he's done has been great but guardians just wasn't a very good fit for him imo
