I understand injuries or not learning a full tactical system… but seems over the top. Do they have magic potion they give players during preseason, and if you don’t get it you are cursed for months? I find it hard to believe that world-class athletes can’t keep themselves in condition. Teach me!

Last year it was Federico Chiesa, this year it’s Alexander Isak. I hear commentators and coaches routinely saying things like, “after missing preseason training (player) won’t likely be fully fit until (insert date months later)” — WTF is this about?
