That's fair, and i guess it's just as they decided to link it to vrc+. That being said you can do a one time month of vrc+, becore 18+ verified and cancel afterwards

Based on what i know, because it costs them money as they make it through a partner company, so they say they can't do it for free

Well there will be a little more overhead with the x86 emulation and the fact that the frame is slightly less powerful than the steamdeck, but for small instances that could work

Many many people use bases as their main avatar and so does for fursona. Maybe the furry community works differently but usually having a modified base is not wrong, you don't have to go fully custom all the time.

I saw many talk about it's monopolistic side and so annoying for developers, but the public just love them more than any other company it's quite crazy, I don't see much other private companies like that.
