Hugely gratifying to get this kind of feedback from a Liverpool fan about this story.

Liverpool's late-show winning record this season is RIDICULOUS, with winners in the PL in the 80th min, 100th min, 83rd min and 95th min, and now tonight, in their first Champions League match, in the 92nd minute.

"Can they score? They always score!"

Yes it will definitely have been fun, MB. My concern for them is they now potentially need 100s of millions to actually get to the PL, and therefore perhaps a billionaire, all while facing spending and loss restrictions in the Championship.

Prem League transfer spending for summer 2025 IS definitely going to blast past £3bn gross, smashing summer 2023 record to smithereens. Will prob post a club-by-club breakdown, plus gross and net spend tomorrow; plus comparisons with other Big 5. sportingintelligence832.substack.com
