Finished the first scene of my next story tonight. That scene constitutes about 1/3 of the outline, and the full scene is 1,600 words. I’m no mathematician, but that means the story is on track to be 4,800 words. My goal is under 5k, so I’m happy!

I’m gonna buckle down and try to write some shorter stories. Sometimes I get so bogged down in these massive epics, and I’m still not totally crazy about the result. Less can be more.

I very much fit into the stereotype of a girl who has absolutely zero handiness or DIY skill. Like, if a project requires anything more than a screwdriver, I’m pretty much fucked. Double fucked if it involves measuring things and making straight lines.

Sometimes you boot up Tetris on a Sunday afternoon and get to a higher level than you ever have before.
I’ve gotten higher scores, but I don’t think I’ve ever made it to 14 before. That seems to be where it’s just straight up too fast for me to react lol
