This is really lovely 😍

The black lines were made by attaching various string and yarn clumps to the loop tip of a broken fishing pole. I held the pole by the opposite end at the very edge and the bouncy nature of the pole fought against every movement. It was an amazing mark-making experience with almost no control.

See?! This orientation would also collage really well with a face...a half face from my extensive collection of various cutouts of human features and parts.

But obviously it also looks like a 🌋

I'm so glad I caught this on the feed, she's an excellent teacher. I ended up cutting up a sock to visualize the cylinder of the "donut" torus if it was connected a different way - a huge win for a curious person who usually cries when math concepts go past the basics.
