To be honest, I'm not entirely sure myself. There comes a point for me where the line between character and concept is blurred, and I'm just drawing whatever I find fun. Sadly, this guy isn't much of a talker, so I haven't gotten an answer out of them but they seem nice enough!

I remember the basic premise was that body horror stuff was like an identity for them of sorts, it made them feel comfy! Writing that out, it's kind of neat to see how this aspect has resurfaced itself via the elongation stuff I was drawing a while back (and am still doodling occasionally teehee)

While I'm on a huge taur/body horror kick, an old sketch that's kind of stuck with me for a few years now is this body horror sergal I saw in a dream.

"Hey, no takesies backsies quite yet! You said you wanted a leg up on life and now you've got it."

Augh, I love the contrast between how serious their face is with the squeaky, bouncy pooltoy aesthetic. Also, big fan of the head shape and the way the chest joins with the torso, which is like the most me-specific compliment ever but I do genuinely love it a lot LOL
