Came to Australia as a 15 y.o. in 1974 and God save the queen was the national anthem. Have to admit, I was completely gobsmacked!

I’m glad your son is safe. Unfortunately my kids are coloured, so I know they are not safe in this society. People of colour have suffered for centuries in Australia,but the government only cares about racism that’s directed at people with a white European background.
