I’ve had 2 emails from Google the last 2 days telling me my iOS device now has Google Gemini. At the bottom of the email it says I got the email since I signed up for Gemini. I absolutely have not signed up for any AI bullshit. How do I get rid of this?! I can’t find any settings to change.

In October 1998, 41 Wolff wrote that Isabel Maxwell and David Hayden of Magellan complained about their portrayals. He also notes "letters from lawyers" from Jon Rubin and Alan Patricof. The Village Voice noted that Wolff had omitted to tell a part of the story of Wolff New Media's implosion: that while Wolff was deferring his own salary to keep the company afloat, he encouraged his employees to do the same. When Wolff collected his owed salary he exhausted the company's remaining cash reserves, resulting in the rest of his employees inability to receive any salary back-pay. [5]

Most of the plot revolves around Wolff's attempts to get funding from various sources: AOL, The Washington Post and Magellan. The kittens are 5 weeks old! They’re beginning to eat solid food and have begun to use the litter box (tho they spend more time playing in the litter box than using it). We’re going through food, litter, and other supplies so fast. Still seeking donations to get them thru ~10 weeks old. 😻

Portland is never going to be a leader in cycling again. Look at this utter bullshit they’re doing to NE Broadway. Instead of using parking as a cheap way to buffer the cycle lane, they are keeping cyclists sandwiched between road traffic and the door zone. Safety for whom? It’s unbelievable.

Going through stuff… found an early mp3 player. 16 mb!!! There a headphone jack at the other end.

In other news, Arthur turned 5. I gave him a brave new plastic bin bag to live in. He likes to have naps in them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Charley Tuna is with us too. This is the first time I’ve been awake to see them sleeping on top of me (I don’t think it happens often).

Just picked up a stack of Oregon/Portland area hiking and cycling books from someone moving out of state. They also had a bunch of old PBOT cycling maps. This is from a 2016 pocket cycling map. I really hope they don’t still put this seal on things because Portland is NOT a great cycling city.
