I got the same letter. The nontaxable income is for things like 401K contributions and HSA deductions- stuff that can be subtracted from your federal income but needs to be included when calculating this property tax refund.

Sorry man - just getting tired of the doomerism and "nothing matters" attitude so many of us have. This move makes it somewhat harder for Trump to get his Big Bill signed and somewhat more likely we can win the seat back next year.

Some version of the Big Bill is going to pass - eventually. And it's going to be awful. We know this. But if they can't ram THIS version through, it will be less awful, and Trump's political strength takes a hit. Politics still matter. My being hopeful on this doesn't mean I care about Tillis.
