I have been watching the British Bake-off. The crust at the sides/bend of the pan needs to be thinner and the lemon curd needed to be a shade thicker. The crusts were perfectly crumbly and flakey, the whipping cream and meringue mounded very high. 10/10 for flavor on both of them!!!

My mother. 89 y/o. Highschool pic. Very shy and insecure. So pretty. Look at those dimples! Wanted to go to college but misogyny said "no". Now: almost 70 yrs married, 5 kids, serious heart disease, cognitively intact, still smart and beautiful. I have love, deep respect and pride for my Mom.

He was squeezed in next to me in the chair. I wanted to take a nap and he lifted his head in shock when I moved. 15 min later: I had a snuggle buddy on the couch too.

Helping my parents clean out their garage. Found this: it is the #2 dinner bell. Salesman would drive up/down road selling bells to farmers - to call the hands in from the fields. The # determined the price and people were competitive!
