Don’t give in!! We need you to stay strong! And to somehow find Republicans with consciences to vote for the democratic proposal, not the evil one they keep trying to pass.

It’s called caving in, not bipartisanship. Don’t bee stupid, MGP. Republicans with a conscience need to cross over and vote for the Democrats’ proposal, not the reverse.

This Legislative Branch funding proposal also failed to include my amendment to strengthen ethics guidelines about the mental acuity of Members of Congress — to ensure Americans have faith their elected Representatives are fully in control of their voting decisions:
No member of Congress unable to cognitively perform their duties should be able to hide behind their staff.
Everyday Americans see it — and I know my colleagues do as well.
Yet, my amendment was just shot down to ensure members of Congress can actually fulfill their oath of office. ⬇️
